Total Compensation:

I’m an advocate for competitive compensation packages for our law enforcement and fire services. With the inevitable future population growth of Placer County, it is imperative we ensure our public safety services are well-staffed and compensated.

Collaboration & Support:

I’m a big believer in collaboration, and work diligently with our Sheriff and Fire Chief to promote regular interagency collaboration. I was also a lead proponent of funding for the Placer County Crime Lab to speed up investigations involving forensic analysis. Finally, I voted to pass an urgency ordinance prohibiting the establishment of drug needle distribution programs in unincorporated Placer County—making a clear statement that government will not be an accomplice to the illegal and harmful use of narcotics.
