Placer County is a highly desired location for businesses, and Shanti believes an important way to create jobs for our residents is to ensure we have the infrastructure to support those businesses.

Shanti believes local control is incredibly important and is the most effective way of utilizing funding to get infrastructure projects done. She supports advocating at the state and federal levels to get those dollars back to Placer County.

This would include encouraging bike paths and trails in new development, offering micro-transit in places where it is fiscally prudent and in demand, and finding areas where we can improve already-existing infrastructure.
